Hi All, I need dimentions for my platter that I am building and I have the Marantz TT-15 Turntable so I need the platter to be the same size as the Marantz to get the speed right. Cheers.

Best I can do is 297.5 mm, +/- 0.5 mm in diameter. I pulled my platter and traced the outside onto a large sheet of paper. I would be more confident of the precision, but both corner edges of the platter are chamfered. If the cylinder were 'sharp' on the bottom, I could be much more precise.

Platter thickness is 28.5 mm

I looked for Clearaudio Emotion specs, also, but came up empty on platter diameter. Hope this helps.

What material will you be using for the platter?

Great Luvv!!! I am stacking 1/2 inch lexan, then a color record, then 1/2 inch lexan, then a color record.....on and on until I get to 4 inches. I tried to order the pulley from Marantz but they wanted $80.00 U.S. and I can turn one for 8 cents. Do you have a dimention for the pulley? I figure that if I am close on the platter, I can change the diamiter of the pulley with tape just to get in right, then make a pulley the exact size when I am sure. Cheers and thanks again.
