Now the bad news - (1) it's just a couple of weeks after our baby is due, so I'm sure I won't be going (but that's a great reason not to go), and (2)it is outdoors in the middle of an Alabama August evening. We have so many good indoor venues - why they would opt for an outdoor site I don't know. In Sep. or Oct. maybe, but not August. It gets hot enough for the asphalt on roads to get soft around here in August.

If I remember right Jeff, your August nights are about the same as here. Sun has gone down, but the heat and humidity linger on. Can be really miserable.
To bad you have to miss the concert, but yeah – you have a really good excuse :thmbsp:

Yeah, I used to think things cooled down in the desert pretty fast after the sun went down. A few trips out to Arizona in the middle of summer convinced me otherwise.

Josh Groban played Canada etc in the winter and will be outside in Dallas mid August. Just doesn't make sense.
Well Norah and Her Handsome Band would be worth sweating over. Better inside than out though.
