my hifi obsession has been a source of some friction... not that my wife has a problem with my hobby, she just doesn't want the living room taken up with huge speakers and cable running all over the floors.

So I put together a system for the living room and dining room that she loves, is guest friendly and that I can live with... the components are simple to use and located in the bar area, out of sight from the main rooms. Thought I'd share it....
this system is composed of: JOLIDA 202 tube amp;Sharper Image style cd changer (w/pre-amp out);2 pair HTD in-wall speakers. I run the 2 pair of 8 ohm speakers in serial attached to JOLIDA's 4 ohm outputs. She is a happy camper now... no wires !

I have 2 other systems for more serious listening that are similarly disguised/minimized:
system #2: nOrh se9 amp;B&W DM110 speakers; yamaha direct drive turntable; Proton 440 tuner; Pioneer 100cd changer.

system #3: CONSONANCE M99Plus amp; nOrh 4.0 speakers hooked up to TV/DVD
