View Full Version : Replaced my RCA jacks on my 1200MK2 PICS

Well, my SL-1200MK2 is 18 years old and the RCA jacks were looking kinda ratty, even though the TT is mint, so I decided to spruce them up with new ONYX RCA's, new ground spade and Techflex sleeves to pretty it up. Here is the before and after shots. Looks pretty darn good!

No, I used the same cable and just cut off the old RCA's, slipped the techflex over each L and R cable, then the larger techflex over both cables and ground, then to the new RCA's. Looks a lot better and it cost under 20 clams. There was a slight learning curve with the techflex though...

Well I wouldn't say the old ones were ratty (unless that is an old pic) but the new ones look great!!

Maybe ratty was a little harsh, but they were due for a change, the center tips were loose too. Plus these look so much better. :music:

Cool, I gotcha. It does look much better.
