I got this CD the other day. It is from the Christopher Guest movie "A Mighty Wind" with added tunes. I've got to say I am enjoying this CD very much. It's a lot of fun.

The more you know about folk music, the funnier wind is. When I saw the flick with my dad & brother, people were clapping & hooting like it was a real concert. I heard that Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy were to perform "Kiss at the End of the Rainbow" at the Oscars. Did they? Must have been quite a performance. I happened to catch the O'Hara/Levy performance on the Oscars but hadn't seen the movie at that time so didn't have a reference point for it. Have seen the movie since and really liked it and thought enough of the sound track to get it. I'm impressed with what O''Hara and Levy did with the songs. |
