Getting a lot of airplay here. They are here tonight or last weekend, didn't pay much attention to the date. Don't care for the 2 tunes they are playing.

Saw them on Leno........twas ok in a trashy headbanger rock way. Pretty hardcore rock going for the older crowd, like you Thor.

I think Weiland and the drummer make quite the fine example of unintended self parody.

Slash still rocks, though.

Blender gave 'em a thumbs up, I think I remember seeing in last months issue.
Should be some good guitar riffs, I'd hope.
Slash still got some chops?

I jest not. You are not only old but have the unfortune to be not old enough and missed all the good stuff. Guns and Roses, Stone Temple Pilots? Who the hell are those guys? Boston wannabees that were too young to play with Van Halen?
If you weren't old enough to take a walk on the wild side before Lou Reed went commercial you missed it.
Since you aren't that much younger than me, you just got left the dregs
The Eagles and Steve Miller moved it south and west. The Dead were, but still moving and David Allen Coe is still considered alternative in Texas. Go figure.
The new walk seems to be Los Lonely Boys and they might be Texas but they sound East LA to me.

Really this Velvet Revolver has less kick than a Velvet Hammer and is catering to the Thormeister; et al. Actually you should get some MP3 on these guys, you will like it. They are high caliber hard rock from 20 years ago not wrapped in a new wrapper. If you liked it then, you'll like it now. That is supposing it isn't over compressed for brain damage in cars, like Aerosmith is. Man did that piss me off!

Guns N Roses is definetely one of the top 10 hard rock bands of all time period, and no arguing ;)

Now go listen to some Jazz and relax :D

I still haven't heard any of the Velvet Revolver stuff......

I guess I'll have to make a trip over to the Musicmatch Jukebox Artist On Demand ...or even to KaZaAville to check out the new stuff!!

Personally I'm hopeing for a start in a new direction for this so-called Rock Music.....

It seems to me that ever since that whole 'Kurt Cobain' thing ..rock music has taken a downfall...and its time to turn that trend around......I'm crossing my fingers!!!...

As a side note ..there are some prog rock bands out there that don't get airplay that are worthy of my respect....ie...Dream theater ...liquid Tension experiment ....TOOL....but they're few and TOO far between........

It would be nice to be able to listen to Radio again without goin insane from exposure to TOXIC GARBAGE!!!!!!!
