A couple of weeks ago i was listening to the radio and i heard a commercial come on about gregg rolie playing in concert over here so of course i had to get tickets.... I wouldnt have even known who he is except i won his "Roots" cd last summer from monster cable. Hes the former lead singer in santana and was also in journey. but really he just plays some good high energy music.

Well lastnight was the show, we went out there and i was really surprised by the turnout, there really wasnt that much people there. the place was only half full. I guess its just because alot of people around here dont know who he is and stuff but too bad for them :)

We got there early and got good seats right up front, the music was good. and LOUD. geez after we left it felt like my ears were plugged. no ringing this mornin though. They played a few songs from his roots cd and old santana stuff but overall was pretty good, they are good musicians, the three guys on the different drums were just rockin' it. Heres Gregg rolie himself behind the keyboard and organ or whatever he was playing, i couldnt see it. Some guy was saying he thought it was a hammond B3 :dunno:

The sound wasnt too bad either, the bass was the kind that kicks you in the gut. as usual lol. just a lil too loud. :p:
