I haven't been able to access the "buy" function for the last two days...

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm able to put things up for sale only!

What exactly happens when you attempt to buy (or when you would like to buy)?

I got that today trying a completed auction search. I guess they are having server issues. It directs you to the announcement page:

Try deleting your ebay related cookies. In the past that has helped me when things got weird or jammed up.

The Ebay site seems to have a tough time finishing its download, kind of comes in "segments". It actually doesnt take that long but much longer than any other site I visit.

When I have trouble downloading or loading pages, I always delete temporary files (using Norton Utilities Clean Sweep, but that would correspond to delete temp cache or internet files) and empty trash in the Recycle Bin. Sometimes close and open the browser window. If worse came to worse I might reboot if I have some general system lock ups. I use firefox.

That way I know it's not my own system resources causing the problem. (Visiting sites with large graphics or downloading files can collect a lot of garbage. Say when you're doing research or visiting this site with those monster pix some are generous with... ;)

Other than that I haven't had any problems with eBay. Have paid today for an item, left feedback and bid the last couple days no problem.
