It beats the heck out of the old Mitsubishi DLP set by a mile. The price was more than right, but no Bolly deal. Even the little woman was stoked! Brad

You can score the latest and greatest LG 47 inch LCD at Video Only for $1000.00. Make sure they throw in the HDMI cables. If one salesman won't do it.... go get another one. They will come down on the price. I think the sale price is $1199.00:yes: Brad

a while back, some dudes scored an 46" LCD from me cheap by breaking in a window and walking out with it....not fun...

Was your flat-screen TV near a window? If so, that could explain why it was stolen. There was a news item on TV here in northeastern Ohio a couple of nights ago concerning flat-screen TVs, which stated that a lot of sets are stolen because they are located near windows where someone could look in, see the TV, and promptly steal it, by means of breaking the window or some other way. Sounds to me as if that's what happened with your set. Not fun, and certainly not cheap to replace. Did you ever get the TV back?

no, never got it back. along with other items taken, homeowners ins. replaced it for me. they are so easy to take. mine was wall mounted, and they are so light, you just lift it out from the wall, unplug and go. when we went with HD, i briefly considered a projector and screen, so as not to have the large object hanging on the wall. i now wish we'd gone that way, as a projector is a)harder to steal and b)not as fence-able

living in the heart of DFW, residential burglary is always on everyone's mind. it never stops. you must always be thinking security, knowing that the bad guys have always got the ultimate upper hand

I thought they had pretty serious judicial system there, complete with the most executions in the nation.:uzi::whip:
