You guys are in for a treat: The Swedish Dance Band web site and forum is maintaining a database of, guess what, Swedish dance bands.

Here's a collection of photos of Swedish bands from the 1970's (remarkably, ABBA is not included) - take your time to study the faces, hairdo, postures, and above all about the matched clothing - it seems like the clothing was really what made a Swedish band back then: OK, here's (http://pics.yemii.com/swedish-dance-bands.html) the site, and here's a teaser:

I generally think the 1970's were awesome but sometimes, especially when I come across disturbing images likes these, I wonder if the decade should instead be forgotten about. :D
