Flipping through some old electronics magazines the other day I came across this.

Science may have advanced by that experiment, but I hate seeing pix like that. I have to wonder what happened to the poor kitty AFTER the experiment was over: Did they remove the device? Did the cat survive? Was it taken home by someone and live a halfway decent life?

Kitty doesn't look "ecstatic" at all... looks more like "If I had a thumb and a gun, you'd be dead."

I'm sure this is relevant to cat-lovers , but some of us just don't care. Owning a python makes me somewhat jaded about mammalian welfare.....

OK , upon further inspection , "UNDISTURBED"? How the f*(K do you bolt shit to the cat's head and refer to it's demeanor as "UNDISTURBED"? I hate cats , and even I find that line of horseshit to be horseshit. Would one be "UNDISTURBED" by a bat to the frontal lobe? I am now officially on able's side. I bet they don't do that in China. Just put the melamine in the milk powder and see, not if, but how many babies die. Much better approach to product testing.:thumbsdn:
