With the release a week or so away (Nov 23rd or 25th, Depends who you care to listen too), There will be previews of the entire LP in the following cities. These are usually clubs with your local Rock station hosting. For us in the Bay Area, That would be 107.7 "The Bone". I've been to both "Black Ice" And "Death Magnetic" parties, And they are a blast! If you don't live near these 9 cities, Check out 107.7's complete play through on 11/14 on the web. There a are currently 2 tracks in rotation here, The title track, Which I really like, And "Shacklers Revenge", Which I like even more. I've pre ordered my copy with Best Buy, They have posted pre orders of 150K in 6 days, About what Walmart had for Black Ice in the same period.

I thought we'd actually see democracy in China before the new GN'R.

I think that's Winters860's point!

I guess you've heard the leaked version? Is it okay to talk about it here? I for one was pleasantly surprised by some tracks. I figured any work that takes that long is either so amazing it's impossible to finish (like Brian Wilson's SMiLE) or someone's polishing a turd over and over again, trying to make it shine somehow.

Well, It's doubtful it can meet 16 years of expectations, And about 13mil to produce. But hey, New Rock is never a bad thing. Will admit being curious about this one! Have heard some of the bootleg, It sounded like shit, So I stopped, And will just wait like everyone else for the polished version.
