IME most sealed (not extremely scarce) MFSL seems to have a standard price of anywhere from $129 - $199. Stuff like Rick Wakeman/ Journey Center of the Earth, JA / Crown Of Creation, Cat Stevens Tea & Firecat, most Moodys, ELP, etc. $100 sealed grabs are usually pretty good deals, comparatively. KeninDC 11-24-2008, 11:36 AM Not a bad deal at all. Soundwise, I prefer the original UK stereo. Others like the UK mono, but that generally costs way more than $100 for a nice copy. While some MFSL Beatles are too bass heavy for me ("Abbey Road"), MFSL did a great job on the MFSL "Pepper," IMO. Getting one sealed and mint is quite a catch. Ken wianieq 11-24-2008, 12:00 PM Nice. I got it off of Ebay but haven't received it yet. Feedback looks good so hopefully I'll be happy. They seem to go for more on there, but I noticed that instead of having the more common "MFSL" designation in the title, He only had "Mofi". So I'm thinking it may have got less traffic. freddyfender 11-24-2008, 05:26 PM Yeah, but now you have to OPEN IT! Sure you want to do that? wianieq 11-24-2008, 11:31 PM Yeah, but now you have to OPEN IT! Sure you want to do that? I've been thinking about that. freddyfender 11-25-2008, 09:14 AM I found a copy of Robert Plant and Allison Krauss' "Raising Sand" on vinyl. Sat in my collection a few days before I opened it up and ENJOYED IT! Yeah, you could probably flip it and make a few bucks. That's the thing with sealed LP's. You have to decide what you will do with it. |
