Well, Merry Christmas to you!

That Zupreme is supposed to be great, but I'm wondering if its weight might create a challenge getting it to balance on the Technics arm with a heavier cartridge. Have you had any issues so far? What cartridge are you using?

The Zupreme is a big improvement over the factory and it is horizontally adjustable which the factory is not and neither is the arm so that's nice too.

I am using the Shure V15VxMR but also have a second Zupreme with an Audio-Technica OC9/MLII.
I had to use the axillary counter weight that came with my table, if you don't have one they are 4.95 at KAB

Yeah, that lash-up works, but if you think about it, it's adding mass all the way down the arm (both ends). I may be in a minority here (?), but I'm a firm believer in getting as much mass out of the arm system as possible for these medium mass S arms. I try to keep the counter weight in as close as possible so the ram can track as quickly as possible (mass vs acceleration?). Less work for teh stylus suspension :)

Installed threaded spindle, see the hole in the top.

how it used to look before the threaded clamp and fluid damper and footers
(I did have the rubber press down clamp though)

There was an improvement in the sound with the upgraded clamp but the footers really dropped the noise floor.

Awesome pics, I will probably be adding the clamp and footers and then I will be done with my 1210...for a while. The fluid damper is the most obvious, Technics should really add this stock. I used the Hi-fi test record and it had like a 6hz resonance freq after fluid dampening, and even then the cart wobbled only slightly.

Did you try the Isones without the sorbothane boots?
I've got Isonoes myself, but not the boots, so I'm curios about the difference.

No I didn't I ordered them at the same time.
I probably should for every one here just so y'all know if there is a difference.

They are a strange material and I cant see how they would not be even more isolation.
I mean the noise floor has been lowered to nothing.
I really like them though.

The fluid damper was a big improvement!
Did you get the Super 1/4 inch mat yet?
I recommend it too its worth the 20 bucks KAB is asking for it.
