Any suggestions? Rob Tuquala 12-11-2008, 06:09 PM There is (or was) a neat record store down in one of the alleys near ChinaTown. Don't know if he could help, and maybe you've already tried there. OOPS!!!! That store is in Victoria! My bad memory!! auralfixaton 12-11-2008, 06:41 PM Signature Audio on Cambie St and 14th Commercial Electronics on Burrard and Drake These stores have some really nice turntable gadgets as well robcalm 12-11-2008, 06:44 PM Thanks for the ideas auralfixation and Tuquala carbonman 12-11-2008, 11:58 PM Signature Audio will be willing to get one in for you, but it may cost more. Commercial Electronics should have some in stock; they carry a good selection of turntables in the basement. robcalm 12-12-2008, 12:52 AM good to know. I haven't got time for them to order one in. O/T did you take the picture in your avitar? carbonman 12-12-2008, 01:11 AM I did indeed. I was a member of the Seattle Museum of Flight for about 15 years. It's the best non-government aviation museum I've ever seen. The Lockheed A-12/YF-12A/SR-71 are particular favorites of mine. robcalm 12-12-2008, 01:23 AM Cool. I'm not an aviation person, but I'm pretty interested in industrial form factors from a design / aesthetic point of view. The SR71 has an incredible "shape". Hopefully I will get to see one one day. Better jump across the border and take a look! Rob |
