Hi,
I have Linn Classik which I love. I'm thinking about adding a power amp to the unit. I figure I need more power. Have anybody ever done this? Is it makes a lot difference? Which amp you recommend?
Any recommendation/comments appreciate.

What speakers do you use, nominal resistance? Classik is really the great combo by itself. The really great advantage can give bi-amping or going active ( I have Katan in active configuration). But ideally you have to have identical amplifiers for all speakers, even all Linn amps has the same voltage gain. I found that AV5105 for my own taste is better than Clout. Try it, but be advised that all Linn AV5105 with all serial numbers were recalled in order to change main capacitors to higher voltage. Usualy seller noticed this fact.

Currently I’m using “ProAc Response One SC”. I’m thinking to add vintage power amplifier so that the Lin classik can be used as integrated amp. What do you think?

I'm not really familiar with Linn products, but it's not a problem if you don't have identical amplifiers to go active.
However, you'd need to have some kind of electronic crossover before both of the power amps.
