There's one of these for sale locally and I don't know anything about them except I've heard the name on AK. I haven't been able to locate a Stax website. A search Stax on this forum seems to bring up a lot of long what-is-your-coolest-find threads. Can anyone tell me about yours or direct me to some info-packed threads? Wattage and ability to drive low-impedance loads would be a good start.

There are a couple ebay auctions, one in France, with lots of pictures. They all say say 45WPC. That's about all I could find in five minutes.

Thanks fragger, it looks high end for sure. Not sure why Google didn't give me the Stax website. A grand+ for 45 wpc? It must sound incredible with the right speakers. This guy had it running with Lentek Monitors I think.

That last link was interesting fragger. I sure would like to hear one of these. So much gear, so little time. I might see if the owner will make a deal for several pieces, I can always flip it if necessary.
