Well not exactly a disaster, but I am beside myself with grief!

After all the work in restoring my G 901, I can not believe what happened tonight.
I am moving my monster receivers to a special shelf unit to display and use.
I move the sansui, no problems but a sore back. I go to connect the speaker wires, and the first + terminal breaks. So I says Crap!! I will move to the B strip, the fist - termial clip breaks!! What the Hell? So I jimmy the first + terminal on the A circuit and get a wire in, the go to the left speaker clip and that clip snaps.
In one 15 minute period 5 terminal clips broke, The little plastic tab that opens the terminals just snapped off there hinge.
No undue pressure or oversize speaker wires, they just all snapped!

So any suggestions out there? as an original set is not handy. Do I have to make a new plate to mount terminals?
Is there a banana plug option like this one from Parts express?

This happen to anybody else? or am I cursed?

Hello,
No, the only thing was contact cleaner and Deoxit.
Crazy as it seems, four of the terminals snapped at the hinge in about 10 minutes.
I swapped over to banana plug outlets and it is smooth as silk.
Thanks

How many do you need? How many black? How many red?

EDIT* Never mind...I just saw you upgraded.

for the offer, I am eventually going to do the other eight receivers in my collection, as they are all 30 plus years old and I am using 12 gauge speaker wire, and I have to really force the wire in there and they are not gripping like they used to.
