I needed a cheap phono preamp for my basement rig, and for just $16.99, the price on the Behringer is certainly right. For this price I don't expect superduper audiofidelity, but I do require fairly quiet, hum-free operation. The user reviews I've read say that it is quiet, so I pulled the trigger today.

I believe the sale ends after this weekend.

Heck, even if it completely stinks, MF has a very liberal return policy.
