Could you please tell me something about Linn Karik & Numerik? I found a set but I haven't made the decision yet. How about the price of $2500?

A very well-made transport and DAC in its day, I'm sure, but 2500 Dollars sounds too expensive for a product that they stopped making ten years ago. Older CD players can be fun, but they will eventually break. Just a word of caution!

A good question would be are you still able to replace the laser for it if it goes in the transport?

Secondly, I think you can get a much better sound for alot less money; when there are unidisc sc's going for $1500, and unidisc 1.1's going for $3500, why get these?
