Every year WQXR FM96.3 khz in the NY area plays whole works of classical music selected and ranked by its audience(I may say a very knowledgeable one). The time frame is 2 days before New Year. The music is great and the transmission superb. I am really blessed to be served by such a station. This is Fm at its best. After work, what more can one ask for? Fine wine perhaps.

i'm too far away to get ota broadcasts but i stream it once in a while. been an occasional listener of wqxr for over 40 years.
i have it and wabc (for imus-but they have way too many ads the last few years so i dont listen very often) bookmarked.

when i was a little shaver, every time our family went anywhere and it took us to or thru the big apple my dad tuned the car radio to wqxr.
