Got some groove going from these guys. Ten Silver Drops! Sounds good.

If you catch them live, bring earplugs. I saw them a few months back in Chicago and man, that was one of the loudest shoes I've ever been to. (though not as loud as My Bloody Valentine. Holy crap THAT redefined loud.)

They were good live except the drummer was pretty terrible. He banged out the same beat the whole show, as hard as he could. He was like some caveman. Looked a bit like one, too, so maybe he was.

Makes me want to see them live .. I like that pounding bass on my chest!

Then you will not be disappointed. A steady Kick drum fest for sure. I rarely break out the earplugs but this show I had them on me, as it was right after My Bloody Valentine and i think my ears were still numb from that. At MBV, the entire auditorium vibrated during their 30 minute noise fest that they end their shows with. I leaned against a pole and got one of the better back massages of my life from it.

They really get a grinding guitar riff going on "daddy's in the doldroms".

In doing a lot more listening to these guys. You are right, a lot of the drum beats are the same.

It is a trio right? Keyboards, guitar, and drums. Who does the vocals?

Yeah, they were a three piece, with the bassist/keyboard player taking vocal duty. Not sure of his name.

Ok, wikipedia says Brandon Curtis. I really liked them minus the drumming, and some of the songs went on too long live without going anywhere. But generally it was easy to get lost in the sound, which is a good thing.
