I知 in need of some help. I'm trying to do a tuner alignment on a couple 9090db's tuners that I have done a total recap. I have purchased the necessary test equipment and have been messing with it for a little while. I know Sansui made mistakes in their procedures and documation and was wondering if anyone here has done a full alignment using test equipment. I took the receiver to someone who said that they knew how to align it and all they did was what I call peak and tweak it. While this may be fine I was expecting an alignment using test equipment which I now find out that he really didn稚 know what he was doing in my option.
I made the detector as described in the manual and was able to do the first few adjustments at TP01 (the haystack I think they call it) but when I got to the S Curve TP03 I知 unable to get the proper signal so is the manual correct or am I doing something wrong ? I知 using a signal/market generator at this point and a 100 MHz scope. I would accept all the help I can get at this stage. Thanks Steve
