I am working on a Pioneer SX-1250 for a guy at work. If I select any two of the three speaker outs A,B or C it works fine if I add the third all of the speakers drop out and the speaker lights go out. Is this normal for this receiver?
Thanks for your help

This is normal for my Sx-1010, so I would guess it to be the case for the SX-1250 as well.

You can not play more than 2 pair of speakers at one time. You can have 3 pair hooked up but when you click speaker C with A & B running it should cut off B and leave A & C running. If you are playing A & C and you click B then C should drop out and leave A & B running. You can play A & B / A & C / B & C / but not A & B & C.
