As advertized, BOTH new and vintage tube gear will be discussed and directed to the Tube Forum. I'm no expert in the field of valve technology but will do my best to assist others where I can or link them with a reliable source. I'll be sharing with members and lurkers my on-going adventures in SET or anything that I feel is newsworthy or relevant to the readership. I encourage others to do the same. I'll be posting PIXs of my system soon, probably on the General or Vintage forum. For those not familar with me feel free to fire away any questions you may have. Hopefully the Tube Forum will have a stronger presence than exhibited on AU. FYI - Off-line communication is always welcomed.

After seeing the picture of the tubes your friend, Tim, sent you I've decided that I could use a friend or two myself. Also, good taste in music! Teaser and the Firecat on the coffee table and Tea for the Tillerman on the CD storage case: Not bad!! Not to mention The Cure and Karen Carpenter... I might have to bust out some vinyl this afternoon.
Oh yeah, and that tired giraffe is adorable
