I am from MI. When I was 6, we used to take a road trip from Melvin to the K-mart in Port Huron. I believe it was on the St. Clair river. My grandpa would always say "There is Canada across that river...Close to you?

I think this is some of the coldest air we've seen here in Southeastern Michigan in YEARRRSSS!!! You couldn't have picked a better week to go to California.

It was in the teens North of Dallas this morning. At least there was no precipitation. Cold + Rain + Dallas Traffic = :yikes:

It was about 8 degrees this AM, currently thermometer says 10 but a new one is on order because that cannot be true. I know Trane says our 1400 is a high efficiency unit, but it only just turned on after a twenty minute hiatus. The fancy thermostat shows "EMG HEAT" when either of both of the two electric heaters are running. Well this morning I looked at it, the house was still at 69 and no EMG HEAT showing, now how in hell can that unit get heat out of 8 degree air?

I just reached over and put my hand on the pipe and it is warm.

I think were going to hit 17 tomorrow.....

it has really cooled off here. I just downed three bottles of wine and much much fine food and now it is 72 degrees here and I am looking out at the sailboat lights in the habor. This is what I have to deal with tomorrow. I will suffer through it. Life is good ah?
