EDIT: Andrews says not available anymore. Sorry, guys.
You guys are gonna like this...!
I have discovered a drop-in sub for the RXM-036. As you might be aware, the original motor was made by Matsushita (Panasonic). Well, I was looking around in my assortment of motors and found one for a Technics RS-631 that looked EXACTLY like the -036.
I installed it. It IS exactly like the RXM-036. Except for one thing. It spins clockwise.
But never fear! Since this motor doesn't contain any control electronics, you can... you guessed it... wire it in reverse polarity!
The Pioneer motor has red, black and two yellow wires. The Technics motor has a blue wire instead of the black wire. You'll have to cut the connector off of the end. Reverse the the red and blue wires on the Pioneer motor control board, and the replacement motor will spin counter-clockwise.
Here's the even better part. While it is not in stock, Andrews says that if you ordered it today, it would be there in a week.
Here's the even better, better part: How about $28.79?
Here's the link:
http://parts.andrewselectronics.com/search/electronic-parts/parts/4/MHN8E2RSD.aspx
The part number for the motor is MHN8E2RSD (in case that link breaks).
This maybe should be a sticky. Have fun!
