Any thoughts or opinions on these? Anyone own one of these? Thinking of picking up one or the other of them, but really don't know anything about either brand.
Any input is appreciated!

The Teac is a belt drive, semi-auto straight arm tt from the late 80s/90s. It's a lightweight and I'm not sure of the quality.
The Denon is a fully automatic, quartz direct drive, straight servo controlled and damped arm. I believe it's also auto size and speed sensing. There's no question it is the better model. There is more to go wrong, but most of them stand the test of time well. I've had similar Denons and they were all fine. The arm enables you to use almost any cartridge. The automation is luscious. :) Make sure you bring a record and test it to make sure it works correctly. The manual for the very similar DP-35F is over at vinylengine.com.

Thanks Howard!
I sent a message to the person that has the Denon listed on CL, so we'll see if he/she responds.
Thanks again!
