This really sucks. I am glad I got to see them back in the day. I will play some Cramps tonight to honor the loss of a legend.

I wish I had. My wife saw them at the original State theater before it was remodeled.

Saw 'em at GW about 15 years ago. Lux spent some time with his hand down his pants, dryhumped the floor, and finally stripped down to a G-string.

All good fun.

I have heard that at some concerts he would stick a chicken leg down his pants, take it out and take a bite out of it, throw it into the crowd, and have it thrown back with more bites out of it. This could be an urban legend, of course, but it is certainly consistent with his method of showmanship.

Sorry to hear the news.

I've been watching the Cramps on youtube and listening to my Cramps albums all day. I can't believe Lux isn't getting more love around here. He truly was an original, one of a kind, iconic figure in rock-n-roll. There will never be another like him.

So sad- always enjoyed the Cramps. Always bought the records in the cherry red vinyl for some reason- just seemed fitting....
