I would be curious about that as well.:thmbsp:
Just got the LPs this afternoon. I went home for lunch and played one side of the Dylan. Disc looked good, cleaned it with my Discwasher which removed a surprising amount of dirt. I played it and it didn't sound too good. Tonight (or tomorrow... as soon as I have time) I'm going to wash all the discs carefully in the sink. Man, I'm starting to see a record cleaning machine in my future... where am I going to put it??? Maybe I'll just rig up some kind of fixturing to let me do an easier and more effective job in the kitchen sink.
Oh, and the seller even threw in two B.B. King albums on top of the rest!

Those are ALL excellent albums, John Mayal and the Blues Breakers is on of my favorites.
Near The Beginning is also a great album. And if you don`t like Mose hey I`ll second elcoholic send it my way! BB is without a doubt one of my all time favorites, I`ve seen him live 4 times. Nice Score BTW.
So far... The Dylan album is a strange recording. Parts sound very good, parts sound not so good. I'm interpreting this as the sound of the original mix, not the particular pressing. The disc itself looks great but has way more noise than I like. This may be my first foray into the wood glue cleaning method.
Otis Redding (One side only so far). Nice quiet disc, the jacket says copyright 1967, but there is a bar code printed on also. Obviously a very late pressing. Sound quality is pretty poor. Like a decent bootleg but in stereo. Maybe a bit too much stereo, too. But Otis can really bring it!
One side of Mose Allison. What a great record! Performance and sound quality are both right up there.
More to come later this weekend.
On the Dylan... this is the first record I've ever had where the inner tracks sound better than the outer.
