This lp was released in Jan '73 and ,although just recorded in one day, is better than the lame Thin Lizzy "same" lp of the previous year.

Funky Junction (known as Rock Machine on the German press) were Thin Lizzy (with the vocalist playing bass and a guy from a band called Elmer Fudd brought in because he sounded a bit like Purple's vocalist.)
