I was thinking about posting pixs of some of the tubes I have, along with any information I could pass along either from research (parroting others) or first-hand experience. I may do some "reviews" or comparisons of variants within a given tube type. For instance, I have 50-75 rectifiers that I'd like to compile some notes I've made. My question, where should I post this? Before the recreation of the forum you moderate that was EZ (Tubes) but I'm not sure where I should post now. I just posted some pixs in sasako's "Fi X" thread. TIA

Go ahead - do it here ;)

If you post a review - make it simple for us "tube stupid" guys to understand. :)

This is reviews and opinions. As long as it is in a catagory that relates to audio any and all opinions are welcome. Well thought out reviews and comparisons even more so. I have never really rolled rectifiers so I am sure interested in what you have found out.

Cool idea MikE...this idea didn't even cross my mind...thanks fer bringin' it up.

However...I would like to make a request...you can certainly do as you want...but, I would rather you didn't "parrot" others on opinion about tubes...I would be interested in what you have to say about the tube in your system. I think tube are to dependant upon not only the speakers...and amp combo...but also what other tubes they are with. This, in my mind, alone makes anything but first hand experience with evaluating tubes a waste (to me...others may get something out of it) Another situation about parroting opinions on tubes is that many people love tubes that have a great reputation...i would rather go on one individuals opinion of what they heard...rather than what they heard someone heard.

great idea MikE!

MikE...ok...I think I get it now...you would only be parroting the views of others , regarding certain tubes, to make notes to yourself about what others thought of this tube for later reference and/or comparison.

I was thinking something else...sorry
