Picked up a Marantz 2216 this morning. About a ten minute drive and a half hour of shooting the breeze with the guy. He had it up and running when I arrived. I've cleaned it up, and done my normal photo shoot (nudies posted). :D

Nice little Marantz! Pair it up with some good vintage speakers, some KLHs maybe, and enjoy. The smaller Marantz receivers are very well regarded, my 2015 is great sounding. The Marantz sound can be very addicting, beware! :D Where's the nudies....:dunno:

It wasn't reeeeeeeeeeally dirty, I just took the knobs off and washed them in the kitchen sink, then sprayed the face with windex.
The inside just needed to be blown out (used a weak compressor) and brushed off (with a big paintbrush).


I'll be using it with my low wattage vintage speakers. :)

So what are those.....low wattage vintage speakers?
I use KLH 17 speakers with a Marantz 2230 receiver.
