I am no photographer but this Cannon G2 sure gets a good shot. Love these digital cameras! Haoleb 07-11-2004, 09:11 PM wow, nice pics! I really like the colors in the sky and the mountain in the first one :) :bigok: We get really nice sunsets on stormy days too opt80 07-11-2004, 09:15 PM Great shots WW! the first is my favorite also Alan jasoncauthron 07-12-2004, 01:35 PM Those are great shots! I guess I'm a sucker for a good sunset shot, as I seem to have a lot of them. Here are a few of mine, also shot with a Canon G2: jasoncauthron 07-12-2004, 01:36 PM And a few more: Dave918 07-12-2004, 01:38 PM Great shots guys :thmbsp: -Dave THOR 07-12-2004, 03:31 PM Any chance you guys can post bigger sizes of those shot to use for desktop wallpapers? WildWest 07-12-2004, 04:43 PM Funny you mention that Thor cause that's what I use em for. Just take em from here and resize them. Reel 2 Reel 07-12-2004, 05:39 PM I wish I had a good Camera back in 1980 after Mt.St Helens popped its top.. We had the most 'intense sunsets' I have ever seen..All I had at the time was a Kodak 110...and the pictures, after 25 years, dont look as vivid as they used to...unfortunatly...but there are some good ones online.... heres one I use for my desktop picture.... I use 'Webshots desktop' for my desktop...the picture changes every 15 minuites... THOR 07-12-2004, 06:15 PM Sometimes when you blow up small photos though they get "grainy" :( ProAc_Fan 07-12-2004, 06:22 PM Thor not if its done properly. Considering the low overall DPI necessary for web use anyway its actually possible to increase image size 10% at a time until you get to the size you'd like. Thor if you want email me the pic you'd like and tell me what size you'd like in return. Mike THOR 07-12-2004, 06:25 PM Actually all those pics make one pic, I tried to just save one and I got all four :( The first four seperated and at 1024 x 768 would be nice :) ProAc_Fan 07-12-2004, 10:29 PM Thor I'll do that for ya. Mike Wardsweb 07-12-2004, 11:08 PM Uh...here's one I took out of the...uh...window...uh...yea the window. jasoncauthron 07-12-2004, 11:13 PM Thor: If you want bigger versions of any of the ones I posted, shoot me an e-mail to pariswater(at)arkd(dot) net, and tell me which pic and what size. Might be tomorrow before I'll get it though... Jason Brian 07-29-2004, 01:00 PM Wardsweb, Interesting to see the population concentrations. What were the circumstances of how you got the shot? You had to be higher up than any commerical airspace I'm famialiar with. |
