Wow great pics. Wish I could have been there. Jim, you really should consider getting a members room at the fest. Your table is a stunner !

Excellent meet Jim. Thanks so much for hosting.

It was a pleasure listening to the two systems you had.

And the nachos were pretty darn good too.

I think the group was able to both enlighten and confuse a couple of the customs' agents as well. What on earth is an audio club anyway?:scratch2: A good days work.:thmbsp:

Great pics guys. I would have liked to make this meet (it would have been my first as an "official member"), but my son had a birthday party to attend.

The listening room looked very comfortable and that TT is sure easy on the eyes. I would have loved to hear what it can do.

Wish I coulda made it, not finding my birth certificate and having an
expired liscense were at least partly to blame for not making it. :(

Looks like I missed a good one, including a great host and guests!

Wiggy made an appearance? (I keep asking ED if wiggy's still alive)

Thanks for braving immigration everyone, (you to Ernie) was nice having my S.M.A.C. brothers ‘In The House’. Love the pics, fun looking through the lens and seeing how we all look in digital. Thanks for all the compliments on the turntable, I am lucky to have such a talented brother in law.

Thanks, Jim, for having us reprobates in your home.

Grumpy is right. You need to think about having a member's room, and displaying your turntable. Great sound, and eye candy, too!

Sorry I missed it Jim, but a broken car up north and a Eurker tournement(SP) kept me in the great white north. Cheers. P.S., the offer to stay at my place during AK fest still stands.

Jim, looks like a great time was had by all. I'm sorry I missed it.

I had to work till four then replace the front brakes on the wifes car. If I didn't have to work Sunday then host a birthday party for my mother in law, I would have come over.

Thanks Jim for being such a great host. I really enjoyed myself. And yep, that turntable was not only beautiful to look at, but sounded very nice as well.

David and I stopped at the duty free shop just prior to going over the Bluewater Bridge leading back into the U.S.. We each bought a 12 pack of Sleeman's and a liter of Rum (Appleton's for me, Captain Morgan's for David). The Custom's Officer asked what my citizenship was so I told him and handed him my identification. He then proceeded to ask what I was doing in Canada and I explained the audio club thing. He did seem a bit befuddled by that but nevertheless handed back my identification and told me to have a nice day. I thanked him and drove off. The funny thing is, he never once asked for David's identification and never questioned the two large boxes of beer or the 2 liters of rum sitting in the back seat of my car in clear view. We did mention Jim's name though so that musta been the ticket, eh. :D

Thanks again Jim.

Cheers

Darren, don't try that in Detroit.
