i know that the two blue pots are for dc offset adjustment, my question is and maybe a dumb one is where do i hook the multimeter to? do i connect it to the speaker outputs?

yep,Do one channel at a time.Adjust as close to 0.0mv as you can get it ..+ / - 10mv is excellent.

Whoa!!!!!!!!!!! Hold on!!!!! You do not hook to the speaker outputs. I have attached the instruction for setting up the SX-780. Just take your time and make sure you don't touch any adjacent pins.

Well, the manual gives internal testpoints, but as long as the relay is closing there's not a reason on earth why it can't be measured at the speaker terminals.

i adjusted the dc offset and am getting 0.0 to 3.5 in both channels do i check the bias the same way? at the speaker terminals? what setting do i use on the multimeter? the relay is closing just fine...

No you can't check bias at the speaker posts..
