This thing is only $60 and has a TOSLINK out. Also has built in 24/96 if you're in a pinch. Looks decent too. Anyone used it?

I use something similar in another system where a laptop needs an outboard digital output to a DAC, which then goes to another stereo system for multizone. The laptop does shoutcasting and obviously media streaming from a server in another room.

They work great, can be stealthed under a couch, and sound way better than any stock laptop sound card, especially with any built-in digi-outs.
