I heard a local radio guy talking about a rock band that is under the radar, and though I meant to remember it, the name escapes me. From the context of the interview, I suspect they are relativly new, and young. Also they are real rock, not that lame A** stuff that passes for rock on the billboard charts today. Anyhow, I think the name had something to do with Dinosaures if not the name of one itself. Any ideas? I will know it if I hear it.

Mastodons aren't dinosaurs. They were munching spruce boughs on the outskirts of Chicago a mere 12,000 years ago. Besides they were mammals.

I don't know the band, though. Maybe they sound more like reptiles than mammals and are misnamed.
