Been listening to a lot of old B.W. Stevenson tunes lately. You guys like his flavor of music? I really dig 'Sunset Woman' !

I agree.
First became aware of him as a result of "My Maria".
He released "Shambala" and one of 3 Dog Nights people heard it, rushed 3DN into the studio to record it and got it out to the radio stations. Guess who got all the airplay?
I have 3 or 4 albums by him. Linda Ronstadt does some of the backing vocals for him. One specifically is "Look for the light".
He passed away at the age of 38 in 1988. :tears:

Yep, the guy was very talented IMHO. And you are right, he got scooped on his 'Shambala' and even on 'Peaceful Easy Feeling'.
Great music for sure.

I clicked on the note to see the picture of yur set-up. Very nice!
I also have a RT-1020H. I used a SA-9100 / TX-9100 combo (purchased new) for many years, then later used the preamp section of the SA-9100 to feed a Crown DC300AII.
I run JBL 4311/4312/L100s. I understand that the HPM-100s sound simular. I know that his work sounds very good on my JBLs!
"Sunset woman" is a great tune. I also like "Lucky touch".
I believe I have 4 of his vinyl albums. A while back I run across a CD compilation titled "The very best of B.W. Stevenson" that has 16 tracks and added it to my collection.
"Look for the light" is on Calabasas
Thanks to your post I was spurred to check eBay for BWS titles. One of the vendors that I have bought from before has 3 "double album" CDs on his site. Although I have 4 of the 6 on vinyl, I bought them for convenience and the ability to listen to them in my vehicle as well!

My 3 double album CDs came in last week and I have really enjoyed listening to them!
My Maria / Calabasas
Lead Free / B.W. Stevenson
We be sailin' / Lost feeling
I will mention again how much I like Look for the light. Especially the backing vocals by Linda Ronstadt!
Lots of good stuff on each album!
Thanks to OldSkool for bringing this up! :thmbsp:
