I have a early pressing of George Benson's Give Me The Night CD. The Question I have is:

Are the Signatures on my insert real??

I have studied it very closely and it shows ink rubbing off along the bottom areas of both signatures as if something rubbed on it while it was still wet. Plus, the ink mark is different than the printed type with the credits and stuff. I really don't know what to think becuase I have seen other inserts with signatures on them but never one quite like mine with the evidence showing a real signature, as mine does. Have a look at the picture and tell me what you think.

i've had that problem before-- a ken nordine album with a sig on the label reading, Good luck, K. Nordine; a fleetwood mac album with a sig reading All my love, Stevie N.; and a Mark Almond record signed Best Wishes, Mark.

how do you know if the sigs are real, and what effect does it have on the value of the piece. i look forward to seeing what the rest have to say

If that is real, you are one lucky bastard.

I don't think it's real... I have a George Benson record (Not the same one...) that has the same thing on the inner sleeve with his signature and Quincy Jones. I'm pretty sure mine's not real either. This thread is making want to make absolutely sure though before I give it away to someone.
