I'm sure there's some variation across models, but are there a few general places it's good to make sure there's adequate lubrication on a table? I'm looking at a Pioneer PL-30 (semiautomatic belt) right now. There appear to be some holes near the small motor and of course, there's all the mechanical pieces which control the auto-return mechanism as well as the spindle.
What's a good way to check if a certain part would benefit from fresh lubrication? Also, what product should I be using to do this?
