The Interaudio series are probably the best-sounding Bose speakers out there.

I was just surprised it didn't have 19 little speakers in there.

I have a pair of those. My uncle gave them to me. They had one dead tweeter which turned out to be caused by an open tweeter protection bulb. They compare quite well against the other bookshelves around here. Polk r20, baby advents ect not better then the bb insignia's. They do sound very natural like real instruments. Wouldn't pay 80.00 for them not evan new. That sellers nuts!!

well the 301's use a 8 inch woofer,the 201's use the 6 inch woofer.
interaudio was bose's attempt at a cheaper speaker.

There was a pair with 10 or 12 inch woofers at the dump yesterday. The drivers look decent (though all the interaudio models I've seen had one or another plastic diffuser in front of a large cone tweeter -- why not just use a tweeter with better inherent dispersion?), but the back of the cabinets was very thin and resonant. Left them there for someone who needed them more than I do.
