I have a pioneer CT-F700 cassette that I recently replaced the belts and rollers in. The deck plays and sounds great to me through my system. I recently noticed that the right hand side VU meter does not return all the way to it's resting position as compared to the left side meter . Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and is it fixable or do I need to replace the meter or is there and adjustment for this or leave it be. Newbie here.:music:

What about when you shut the deck off ? The 700 is rare so parts might hard to fine .

When I shut the deck off it doesn't go all the way back to zero. It's mostly for aesthestic purposes. I have another CT-F700, and that one, all meters zero out. The deck still works great.

How much off is it? If the deck plays and records I would leave it alone.
Parts are very hard to find for that particular deck.
Hope this helps.
