I recently replaced my stock Thorens tonearm with a Sme 3009.
And giving all my hard earned cash to my tech to install the arm, cheaped out
on the interconnect, $30 Monster cable....... (RCA conversion)

Sounds O.K.........still burning in I guess, if you believe in that kind of thing.......

Something better? What would you prescribe? opinions?

Oh, you don't know what cheap is. Check out the thread on Petra interconnects:

High capacitance diminishes the high end frequencies when using magnetic phono cartridges. Problem is that "audio" cable today (including some of Monster's line) is geared for line level interconnects which are largely unaffected by capacitance, and many of those cables are high in capacitance. The Petras are low capacitance and really make a noticeable difference.
