Ah! Just made a fool out of myself and went complaining to Ernie, via visitor´s messaging, thinking I was being punished for being absent for a few days.:sigh:

I wonder what it says of the membership that the first thing everyone seems to wonder is what they did to irk someone. :scratch2:

Many, many guilty consciences, perhaps? Some of us stacking Large Advents on our HPM-100's in the wee hours of the night, when they think no one is looking? (ô.o) Hmm...

I'm thinking that the mods are getting a bit of a break from PM's during this small break in the action.

It is nice not getting requests for manuals from people with zero posts though.

Everybody relax. The issue is being worked on. I know its frustrating. That cannot be helped. As much information as is available, is being made available. PMs are an essential part of this forum, and that is well understood.

Patience please.

Mine has been unusable for weeks already, as I'm over quota until I get my Paypal working again (forgot the password and have changed email addresses since the one on record there -ugh!) and re-subscribe.

It HAS been frustrating not to have PMs, but I can live without 'em a bit longer. I hope by the time I get the Paypal sorted and re-subscribe, that the technical bugs will have been worked out and the service restored.

Good luck with it, Grumpy and team! :thmsp:

I have read and responded to those other type personal messages but it still tells me I need to acknowledge 2 of them - how?

Lower left of the visitor messages, there's a small pop-up labeled "Moderation"...with "approve", "unapprove", "delete", etc. Select "approve", check-box the message and then it becomes "unread messages". Once message is read, then back to zero it goes.

I just figured this out by accident. :dunno:
