I've just finished listening to Jennifer Warne's Famous Blue Raincoat Gold CD. I have to say the imaging on the final track (Joan of Arc - Live) is probably some of the best I have ever heard. The only other album that comes close, to my mind is MOFI UHQR Dark Side of the Moon (vinyl). I'd close my eyes, tilt my head back a bit and I'd swear someone had snuck in and added a set of rear speakers. The staging of the music and the ambience of the venue/crowd was unbelievable. The whole trip raised the hairs on my arm.

Yep, I have the Cisco reissue of FBR on 45rpm LPs and it's scary good!:yes: A couple of other that immediately come to mind are Roxy Music's Avolon in just about any format (I have the LP, CD and SACD) and Earth, Wind & Fire's Head To The Sky.

Well, if you ever think you'll replace your TT, get a copy now. There were only 3000 pressed and I'll bet they're down to a few hundred copies.
