Speaking of covers, I actually prefer "The Bad Plus" version of Comfortably Numb to the original but that is simply because I've heard the Floyd version enough for this lifetime. It spoke to me at 14 but is not really the same at 44.

To the original question, no I can't think of a better Beatles song either. I'm not much of a Beatles type guy though.
