I have a miracord xa100 that I'm not sure I can use, the needle is damaged and not sure if I can repair it.
Looking for some suggestions on a cheap reliable turntable to use with my mono setup? Something I can use a good needle with?I was thinking about a miracord 50H model

I don't know anything about Miracord, but I was wondering what kinds of records (sizes/speeds) do you want to play with this system. Or are you looking to play only mono vinyl of a certain vintage? The sort of cartridge/stylus options, as well as what turntable, might depend on such things.

Also, what do you consider "cheap" for a turntable. I might think cheap = $20.00. Somebody else might think cheap = $450.00.

It will be easier for others to give you recommendations, if you can offer this or other additional information. Good luck!

Well this is my first turntable setup since I was a little kid. I'm just starting to collect 33, and some 45's. mostly classic ~ rock( 60's - current), some jass and blues. as of right now no 78's. Cheap to me is less than 100 bucks (table and tuneup parts if needed)
