Does anyone have a list of which albums had promo releases pressed on the Quiex vinyl? So far the only ones I've seen have been Alchemy (which I now own), Brothers in Arms, and Love Over Gold. I have a promo of the ExtendeDancEPlay disc, but it doesn't have a Quiex label. Were there Quiex pressings of the S/T album, Making Movies, Communique, ExtendeDancEPlay, On Every Street and the Sultans of Swing greatest hits album?

The quality of the vinyl on the Alchemy Quiex release is very nice. Extremely quiet and quite a bit heavier than the usual 110/120g-ish WB discs of the 1980s. If I had to guess, I'd say they're probably around 140g.

Do you only want to see "promo releases" or all Quiex currently available from a vendor?

AFAIK, the only Dire Straits albums released on Quiex vinyl were promo releases.

Are you familiar with a John Lennon demo Quiex lp??

Seems to me I passed on one last week and I need to go back and try to find it.

That's all I remember about it.
