I picked up an LP at the goodwill yesterday from Lee Oskar, the harmonica player for War. Anyway for $1 its not much of a gamble. I"ve listening to it, its nice but strange all the while intersting. Kinda funky, kinda elevator musicish but it makes me want to keep listening to see what comes next.

I love it when you get a suprise that you just don't really expect.

anyway

Have several of his albums, enjoyed him then and now. Played the first solo album with the black background and white stars with the flying Harmonica on it awhile back when some folks had come over and they thought it sounded excellent.

Just got one of his too (a bonus from record purchases from a member here) and had similar impressions... strange but was enchanted! Was definitely a neato surprise.

I like the solo records from the 70s including some of the cool covers.

He is a local - I've heard mention on the radio of his performances at local blues clubs, and he has a harmonica company for the last 25 years in Duvall. I see there is a product demonstration next Monday at the American Music store in Bellevue.
